OREANDA-NEWS  Photos of the new version of AvtoVAZ's flagship novelty, Lada Iskra, have appeared online for the first time. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Kupi-Lada Togliatti Car Dealership".

We are talking about the Lada Iskra SW Cross version. The photos posted online show the car in an orange color scheme. The model was presented in the lobby of the main building of AvtoVAZ in Tolyatti. "A bright Lada Iskra SW Cross lurked in the lobby of the AvtoVAZ high—rise," the message explains.

Serial production of Lada Iskra SW Cross cars will begin in the first quarter of 2025. The cars will be equipped with 1.6-liter engines with 106 horsepower. Four colors will be available to customers — gray, brown, crimson and white.

The package will include air conditioning, audio system, multi-steering wheel from Vesta. The rear seats will be equipped with three head restraints, and the doors will be equipped with electric windows. The cost of the new version of Lada Iskra will be from 1.2 million rubles. In the line of cars, the SW Cross will be located between the budget Granta and the more expensive Vesta.

At the end of January 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin was shown a pre-production Lada Iskra. During the presentation, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, noted that the new car should soon "get on the assembly line." The world premiere of the flagship sedan took place in the second half of June 2024. The new model was shown as part of SPIEF 2024. The total amount of investments, as stated, amounted to 23 billion rubles.
