OREANDA-NEWS The decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on awarding the deputy of the Parliament of Moldova Marina Tauber with the Order of Friendship has been published, the document is posted on the portal of the official publication of legal acts.

At a meeting of the Council of the State Duma, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, presented the Order of Friendship to Deputy of the Parliament of Moldova Marina Tauber, this was announced by Deputy of the State Duma Alexander Khinstein.

"For services to strengthening peace, friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between peoples, award the Order of Friendship to Tauber Marina, a deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova," the decree says.

At the end of April, the founding congress of the Victory-Victoria bloc was held in Moscow. Its participants support the idea of Moldova's accession to the EAEU. The new political force united, among others, the parties "Shore", "Chance", "Victoria", "Renaissance", "The Power of Alternatives and Agreements of Moldova". The Executive Committee of the block was headed by Ilan Shor.

The opposition Shor party was banned in Moldova last summer, and it was officially liquidated in January. The authorities declared the party unconstitutional, accusing it of illegal financing and opening criminal cases against its leaders. The deputies representing the Shor party, including Tauber, remained in parliament, but are considered independent, having no right to join other political forces. The parliament also banned members of the Shor party from participating in elections for three years.
