OREANDA-NEWS  Seven trains are delayed due to an emergency at Kotluban station in the Volgograd region, where a freight train derailed on Tuesday, the press service of the Volga Railway reported in its telegram channel.

In particular, with delays from 1 to 3.5 hours, trains run: No. 13 Imereti resort - Saratov; No.255 Kislovodsk - Yekaterinburg; No. 60 Novokuznetsk - Kislovodsk; No. 201 Anapa - Krasnoyarsk; No. 59 Kislovodsk - Novokuznetsk; No. 14 Saratov - Imereti resort; No. 1 Volgograd - Moscow.

"Currently, work is continuing at Kotluban station to eliminate the consequences of a freight train derailment. Two recovery trains, 17 pieces of equipment and about 200 railway workers are involved in them," the report says.

Earlier it was reported that on Tuesday, due to outside interference, several freight train cars derailed at Kotluban station. Reverse traffic is organized on the site. According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Volgograd region, fuel tanks and a wagon with lumber also caught fire at the station at 01:55. The fire was extinguished at 03:38. No one was injured.
